MJM STORAGE – TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. Definitions

“MJM Storage” refers to MJM Storage.

“Customer” refers to the person renting the storage container.

“Unit” refers to the 20ft x 8ft storage container provided.

2. Use of Storage Unit

The storage unit is to be used for storage purposes only.

The following items must NOT be stored:

Illegal goods

Flammable or hazardous materials

Perishable or food items

Living animals or plants

Stolen or unauthorised goods

The customer confirms they have legal ownership of all items stored.

3. Access

Access to the unit is available during agreed access hours only.

The customer must keep the unit locked at all times using their own padlock.

MJM Storage does not hold keys to customer locks.

4. Security

MJM Storage provides a secure storage facility; however, all goods are stored entirely at the customer’s own risk.

MJM Storage accepts no responsibility for loss or damage to goods stored unless caused by proven negligence.

Customers are advised to arrange their own insurance for stored items.

5. Rental Charges

Storage is charged monthly in advance.

The launch offer of £120 per month applies only to the first 25 containers and may be withdrawn at any time once filled.

Late payments may result in:

Access being restricted

Additional charges

Termination of the agreement

6. Termination & Notice

The customer may terminate their agreement with 7 days’ notice.

MJM Storage reserves the right to terminate the agreement immediately if:

Rent is unpaid

Terms are breached

Illegal or dangerous items are stored

7. Abandoned Goods

If payment is overdue by more than 30 days, MJM Storage reserves the right to:

Deny access to the unit

Dispose of or sell stored items to recover unpaid fees

8. Damage

The customer is responsible for any damage caused to the storage unit or site.

Any damage must be reported immediately.

9. No Subletting

The storage unit must not be sublet or shared without written permission from MJM Storage.

10. Liability

MJM Storage shall not be liable for:

Theft

Fire

Flood

Weather damage

Accidental damage

All items are stored at the customer’s own risk.

11. Changes to Terms

MJM Storage reserves the right to update these terms at any time.

Customers will be notified of any significant changes.

12. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
